This will become a “thing.” Mark my words. People will try to turn this into some cottage industry, like gold panning, metal-detecting, Oak Islanding, etc.

I found one just like this back in April, except the contents of mine were slightly different. The one that I found was on a remote section line outside of a small town in ND. It's a popular area for pheasant hunting, but due to the remote location it also attracts some unwanted guests. The cooler that I found contained hundreds of little baggies with meth residue, new/used needles, a pistol, fish hooks, some pot and a weed pen. Turned it over to the local sheriffs office and managed to get the cooler back following their investigation.

I just wish it would have been full of cash!

The creek I found it on runs through town next to a pretty popular trail/bike path. I went out and put up signs all along the trail saying “found cooler tell me what kind and what was in it you can have it back” or something of that nature. I never drank the beers because they were shitty seltzer stuff. I was hoping someone would call so I could see how they reacted when they realized I ate the sandwich. Haha

I would have invoiced you for the sandwich. Even would have added gratuity and late payment charges.

This was a few years ago and nobody ever called. It had like 4 different beverages. A few local beers and some cider shit and a truly or something. It was a tasty sandwich. Wish I could of given my compliments to the chef.

How do you reckon the shipping containers got opened up After they went in the drink?
The one we have at our camp is a SOB to get open. I have only a sample of one to compare it to.

Those ocean containers aren't always in the best shape, and depending on how high the stack was, just hitting the water could easily be enough to bust open the doors

I wonder what the breakeven is on number of yeti coolers to gallons of av gas.

The instagram pic of your supercub on the beach with a stack of yetis has to count for something though.
