Frankford Universal seating dies and 223

Frankford sent me ANOTHER set, and SAME problem. I am done trying to "solve" it. I am just using the .243 sleeve for my .224. Works great. I am going to assume something went haywire and they have not yet figured it out. None the less, I have 3 full seater sets now

Looks like I'll just go the .243 route instead of bothering with them. That's unfortunate.

In theory, would using the wider diameter sleeve mean more potential for greater run out?

Following. My universal seater die arrived couple of weeks ago. Have enough 223s for a little while will report back if I have the same problem when I use for 77tmks. Incidentally, it has been fine so far seating 6arc and 7-08 bullets/cartridges

Yeah 6.5 creedmoor did fine for me as well. I think the assumption that something is messed up with the current batch of .224 sleeves is the most likely answer. I anticipate hearing your results with 223
