Putting together an NRL OH rifle and trying to decide on stock. Anyone have first hand experience with Foundation Ezekiel or Revelation compared to Manners? One of the guys I run with quite a bit likes the PRS1/2 stocks and recommends those over the LRH series from Manners his recommendation was also that his bedded manners shoot noticeably better than the mini chassis manners he has. Anyone else see similar results?

I don't have an Ezekiel but I own a Centurion and have owned 3 Manners stocks (EH1, EH1A, and EHF1A). Wait time is way shorter for the Foundations and the fit and finish is a fair bit better. If the Foundations feel good to you, I'd go with that every time.

Ya I’m also thinking by the time I buy bottom metal and either have it bedded or buy the mini chassis and Arca rail for something like a prs2 I’ll be in deeper than buying a Ezekiel and bottom metal.

I know you said open heavy and PRS 1 but I think unless you may pull the plug and go to PRS the LHRS is the better option for hunting and nrl hunter. Saving weight in the stock, action and barrel really opens things up to run optics and support gear that imo matter. I have a couple LHRS and I really like the stock. I put ARCA rails on them and have the mini chassis bedded. I have everything bedded at this point except my foundation genesis 2. I have a foundation Ezekiel on order so time will tell on that one.

I have a Gideon (same thing as an Ezekiel but no adjustable cheek piece) I also have a couple of Manners PH stocks but no mini rail. The Manners are bedded, the Gideon is not (Tikka action in the Gideon). I really like both stocks. The fit and finish on the Foundation is fantastic. The inletting is tight enough that I have not felt the need to bed this one. The Gideon is heavier than PHs and handles recoil better. The Gideon/Tikka is chamber in 35 Whelen. I use the Manners for 300PRC, 7PRC and 25-06AI. You can't go wrong with either. I do think that an Ezekiel would make a great Foundation for an NRL rifle.

For folks with the Ezekiel how well does the cheek piece lock in? I saw a youtube video where a fella was able to lift it up and out with one finger cause there wasn't enough bite on the carbon rods to hold it.

I have an Ezekiel on order…expecting shipment next week. In my limited experience, inletting on the foundation is so good. They had a SA version in store that i was able to play with. The ergonomics and feel was miles ahead of the others that I tried as well.

I compete OH with a PRS1 mini chassis, its an excellent stock. I shot the Snake River Outdoorsman match last weekend and one of the guys had a Foundation Revelation.
He let me shoot it and damn! It felt incredible ergonomically and really soaked up the recoil.
If I were starting over again I'd go with a Revelation 1000%

You happen to have a rough memory of the rest of his setup to make weight? Steel vs carbon barrel, bipod, suppressor or break? Wish there was more options locally to me to lay hands on these to compare. In the group I shoot with its pretty manners heavy though and then a few of the heavy prs foundations (I run a Samson on my prs gun)

The new Remnant hybrid (read: Lite) stock looks better than the gideon and ezekiel to me. Dont love the butt hook on the revelation but rest looks good.

The one thing on the foundation grips I dont love is the thumb shelf is almost parallel to recoil direction rather than having something behind the grip like krg bravo or rokstok.

I do like the idea of not going crazy heavy on a stock and letting the weight come from barrel, scope, bipod.

Is there any actual info or even rumors out there about the Remnant?? I check every now and then and all that I find is it mentioned in shot show pictures at other peoples booths.
