Found a buck for my girls

Had to drive out to my bro in-laws just outside of town. On the way up I noticed a deer laying on the hillside in a cut. On the way back I stopped and pulled out the spotter. Free handing the baby Kowa I was like it's a doe with some roots behind it.
So I threw down the tripod. Holy!
He's sitting on public and hopefully he won't wonder off before Montana youth days!

He wouldn't turn his head.

Any idea on score?

I've been using chat gpt a lot and it's usually really accurate. I think it's a little optimistic in this one. Said 170-180. In Montana on the prairie 160 is a helluva deer.

Either way I've got a daughter looking for a first deer and another one that'd shoot him.

I don't think he's over 150. Appears less than ear wide and tines aren't that long. He will look bigger in velvet.

This ^^^. Still a great buck if you can keep track of him. Way bigger than my first buck!

By those pics it looks to be a 22” wide 4x4 probably 140s, maybe 150”. Not a bad deer but I don’t see how that approaches 170.
