Where do you have your straps placed on the velcro? I see some people with it all the way down but for me mine is set pretty high.
I'm 6' 185 regular build.
Just curious where other guys have their's set without undoing it a hundred times. 20250213_163025~2.jpg

I’m similar to this. We have same build sounds like. I’m 6’ 190.

I’ll get a pic sent over in a few.

I’m 6’ 210 and mine are similar to the picture, I played with the straps a bunch when I first got it and then I fine tuned the straps on the first hike with it and that’s where they ended up.

Sounds like we should start a fight club. We’re all pretty close in here.

I have used mine from everything from bear baiting, scouting, truck hunting, wheeler adventures, fishing, cabin weekends, currently using it as a gym bag for my SE AK travels for officiating HS basketball… WSF gave me a brand new avail when I upped to Summit life member status, I’ll beat the brakes off this one before I unbox the new one! Been a pretty perfect sized day pack for when I dont want to carry the big bag with the waist belt.

For those that have this bag do you feel this is a solid bag in terms of room for a day bag (hiking), travel bag (flying), etc while carrying a mirrorless

It's a solid bag, but it fills up really fast IMO, especially for it's stated size. I'm currently hauling around my daughter and I's hockey skates, hats, and gloves in a North Face Jester. I don't think I could fit them in the SG. I've used a Dakine Mission (Can be found cheap when on sale) as a travel bag. Both the Dakine and North Face seem to dwarf the SG for actual usable space.

I routinely travel for work and do 3 days and a laptop and gym shoes and Nalgene with mine. It's a tight fit for that use case but it works. Several times my colleagues have asked me "where's your other bag?"

Iv tried a lot of bags to accomplish non hunting day stuff and while the avail has never seemed like the perfect option, every time I go away from it I come back.

They can be had pretty affordable as well.
