Footing FMJ shafts

I’d like to put an aluminum arrow footing on my 5mm fmj s. Anyone try this, and happen to know the shaft you need? I’m thinking 20?? Aluminum

Depends on the outside diameter of your FMJ. All FMJ spines have the same inside diameter but different OD.

Here you go. Figure out the OD of your shaft and match it to the ID of the aluminum arrow in this chart.

Or just pick up some footers from VPA.
