Football fans???

He wouldn’t be an MVP candidate if that’s all they had on offense. He’s just been blessed to be the first QB in NFL history to face three of the top-5 overall defenses in the NFL in the first 3 rounds of the playoffs and did so in blizzard conditions in 2 of those games. ;)
He’s decent with potential. Butter hands and poor sense of awareness (sacks in the first half). All smack talk aside he doesn’t seem to have that “it” factor when a play breaks down, he’s good when it goes as designed.

Don’t you go for two points when an extra point puts you down 4 pts???

Not when there’s enough time on the clock and you have a good offense, but not an unstoppable offense. Going for two against the Seattle defense at that point in the game isn’t the right call based on the odds.

I’d rather have a quarterback who can start off playing well within a system and is an accurate passer than one who pulls off flashy plays out of structure.

I think the funnest thing of the entire season is the Minnesota Vikings letting Sam Darnold walk, JJ's our guy they said. There has to be a few higher ups in the Vikings organization scratching their heads right now, and even more fans not so happy.
Maybe that's the really reason behind the protesting and riots in the streets there???

They live in Minn. they don't spend a lot of time thinking there. Or winning there.

Fair enough, needs to have balance to be considered a great qb. This can be asked about Denver as well as NE, if their defense didn’t keep it close in a low scoring game could the offense/qb have done enough to win.

How did the weather impact that game?

My personal option is Denver had the best defense in the league at this time, so for NE to put up 10 on them, in their stadium, with those conditions, that was a good offensive showing. Seattle showed they can be scored on, and that they can, and will make some mental mistakes.

As far as the next game, I really think Vrabel is the equalizer, he just seems like some crazy lab experiment where they some how combined Belichick and Brady together and got Vrabel. I'll never forget how he had a Tennessee team several times deep into the playoffs, with players leading the way that sucked before him coming there, and then those players sucked after him leaving, or those players going elsewhere.

They put up three and were given seven by our back up qb. They couldn’t move the ball until third qtr before the snow started then it was understandable that neither team was moving the ball.

Idon't know, I think the way the Denver defense was playing the last part of the season, it was one of the greatest I've ever season in a long time, and that stadium in Denver is without a doubt an advantage for the home team.

We'll find out in 2 weeks who's real.

If only it was that easy as just re signing him. They made offers it had to fit the cap and Darnold didnt want to have JJ waiting in the wings behind him. The fans are the over emotional ones who work in black and white and dont understand there is alot of grey area. It could be worse could be Green Bay and have three decades of HOF qb and only 2 super bowls to show for it one of the biggest failures in the nfl in modern history.
