Football fans???

Daniels was good but not great. Goff was awful. It will be interesting to see who is traded, Goff or Hooker.
Daniels has 300 yards passing, 2 td passes, no int, 51 yards rushing, no sacks, no fumbles. Not a bad day at the office for a rookie in the playoffs and he gave the Lions no gifts to take advantage of.
CJ Stroud would have loved those stats yesterday.

Weak excuse but the injuries on defense just kept piling up for the Lions to the point they were using players who barely saw the field all year (12 men on the field on a 4th down play = killer). Plus no team can overcome 5 turnovers.😂
Actually Goff threw 5 INT's back in Nov. against the Texans, and the Lions still won that game. I think last night he may have just been testing his team to see if they could do it again.😂

I hear lots of talk about the ravens improved D over the last 8 games of the season. The only offensive team they played was the eagles. Hoping its an improved D that gets exposed today against a good offence
Stopping Lamar and Henry is going to be hard but with the starting linebackers playing I am praying they keep the gaps filled and not give either of them big chunk plays. 🤞

Bills play pretty well at home (guessing most teams do). Their defense is pretty much healed up. The offense is clicking—passing and running (Cook is having a pretty damn good year!). BUT the Ravens are tough, both sides of the ball.

I truly believe that something needs to be done, and soon, regarding the terrible officiating. I don't know exactly how the NFL should address it, but it needs to be addressed. I think that if it continues the NFL will suffer and maybe even to a greater extent than it suffered with the whole kneel down. Even though the NFL has the largest fan base in all of sports (in the US), I'm sure Roger Goodell doesn't want to have to deal with the backlash of corrupt officials, because it's really starting to look like that.

With the replay’s showing everything in slow motion why can’t they call in from New York and change the call? I heard talk of the “barstool” call where if 100 people watching in a bar all see it and all think the same way the bosses would call in and make the change. We have seen some of this in relation to spotting of the ball and catches but why can’t they do the same with penalties?
There is also some really bad reffing in the NHL! McDavid was mauled last night before cross checking the other guy in the head and there was no call. Until refs are held accountable nothing will change.

Maybe all questionable plays need to be view by instant replay by official in the booth, I know some already are, but plays like the pick six where Goff took a shot in the head, need to be closely reviewed. I don't want them to stop the game to review plays, but the booth has immediately access to play. There was about thirty seconds or more after the TD until they got lined up for extra points t try, more than enough time to look at it. Officials are human, they are going to miss things. there is a lot of money and pride on the line to let blown calls to determine the out come of games, not to say that miss call would have changed the outcome, but just maybe. I'm taking the Bills and the Eagles today. I was 2 for 2 yesterday, I lost both games. :)

I shoud have put this in the stock thread, but back up the truck on the Chiefs to win the SB as the fix is in. The NFL, and its refs, said make it so and so it shall be.

How 'bout them Redskins? Pretty durn impessive all around and if JD keeps getting better we just have a Mahomes 2.0 (but let's hope without the assists from the refs).

So, why do you think they favor Mahomes? What’s the big deal about him?
It’s not just Mahomes, it’s KC period. Too much money to be made with Swift involved.

I know a few girls that couldn’t have told you what the NFL stood for 5 years ago. Now they have every piece of Chiefs gear made.

Whether or not I truly think it’s rigged, I don’t know but KC does seem to get a lot of calls that only go one way.

Now I know where the term monday morning quarterback came from.🤷‍♂️
It certainly isn't perfect but if you go back over the years, there's been some pretty shitty calls......not just this year.
