And besides, they used their "put 'em in the playoffs cause their 'Bama" card last year. How did that work out?

They took the undefeated national champs to overtime and gave them their biggest challenge of the year. Passed the sniff test to make the playoff IMO.

Alabama is not good enough this year to be in the playoffs. Probably need to get used to it. NIL has changed the game.
Winning against LSU, Mizzou, and SC is no great feat this season. Losing to Vandy and a bad OK team is huge though. That probably kept them out more than a win against UGA would have got them in.

One yard further back and the Chargers won that game. Luckiest team of 2024. That is for sure.

Chargers straight lost that game though. The offense didn’t do anything in the first half and the defense had KC stopped pretty good. A little offense playing and they would have won it.

Chargers straight lost that game though. The offense didn’t do anything in the first half and the defense had KC stopped pretty good. A little offense playing and they would have won it.

The Chargers flat out suck, always have , always will. It starts in the front office.

At least they aren't a Dallas fan. This year has been absolutely brutal and unfortunately due to getting destroyed by injuries I picture Jerry Jones being too stubborn to let McCarthy go and they bring him back for another year of disappointment. Granted every year is a disappointment when Jones refuses to give up the reins to the team and let someone else try and build it.

At least Penn State is in the playoff's although I don't envision them having what it takes to win the championship. They played ok against Oregon, and in all reality gave the game away with 2 turnovers. They simply made more mistakes then Oregon.
