We mostly view draft picks with hindsight and from a "Monday morning QB" perspective. But Trubisky? Everyone could see THAT was a bad idea/choice.

I definitely hope Brock can get it done, but seeing the Lions go wouldn't be the end of the world. This is probably SF's best shot at it. I doubt that this current line up will all be there next year. McCaffery is fun to watch and he has a great big heart, but as hard as he runs, he's on borrowed time.

I’ve been a Niners fan my whole life…at least the last 50 years of it, and also a Stanford fan, and I watched CMC throughout his entire college career. Gotta say, I was pretty pissed off that he didn’t win the Heisman in his Sophomore year, because the Heisman has never been given to anyone below a Junior, so they gave it to Derek Henry instead. Total BS IMO!

Not a 9ers fan, but I think CMC should be MVP this year, and I like Purdy. Too bad they play for the 9ers.

Johnny Football and Jameis won it as redshirt freshmen. Tebow, Lamar, and Mark Ingram as true sophomores.

Anyway. Go Chiefs!

You’re right. I thought that’s what the talk was about when Derek Henry beat out McCaffrey for the Heisman. I know that McCaffrey had something like 1000 more all purpose yards in that season, and also had more rushing yards, but Henry had quite a few more rushing touchdowns.

Anyway. Go Niners!

Rooting for the Lions- being a Buffalo fan I can sympathize with Lion fans.

Being a Buffalo fan, hoping for a Ravens win :ROFLMAO:

It’s been so long for the lions, I honestly don’t know how to act!

I feel the 49s may eke out a close one and if so I’m still for happy and impressed for that group.

That said, interviews with Shanahan and players was stark vs Campbell and players. Dan said, it’s just another game, the next game we’re right where we need to be…

Just a quick reminder that the Chicago Bears were in the #3 draft spot in 2017. They traded everything they owned to move up one spot to #2 so they could draft MITCH TRUBISKY...

Christian McCaffery was drafted #8
Patrick Mahomes was drafted #10

That is all.
Ya, but still nowhere near as bad as Paton's deal with the Seahawks. Hearing that trade news two years ago Feb was like a sucker punch to the gut. Then hearing what they gave up for Wilson was like a kick to the groin as well. Then giving him that extension was definitely strike three. Between all that AND the Randy Gregory signing......and Frank Clark.....Paton's beyond lucky to still have a job.

The it was on all morning shows as he lifted up a little girl that was holding a Swift sign so she could see her better.

More exposure I'm sure than he's ever gotten playing football :D

Same here, we had season Tix to Stanford as my daughter went there with CMC….i think the west coast gets shafted as the east coast writers are done watching football by the time the WC games are on late.

That Detroit team is very good, 49ers by 7 shocks me….it looks to me to be a toss up. If I wasn’t a 49er fan, I would take Detroit and the points.

Think the Packers proved the Niners can be beaten, just can't make mistakes. So, does Geoff play clean, or not?
I think it's the Ravens game to lose, but with KC I'd never count them out, just ask the Bills team from 2021.
