Food bag for backpacking in grizzly country

Quick question for all you backpackers in g-bear country, how big is the bag that you use to hang your food in?

My wife and I are working on some diy sewing projects and I’m thinking 12x16 but I’m unsure if that is too small for 2-4 day trips!

i can get 14days worth of food in a sea to summit 20L dry bag for my sheep hunts.

I use a 20L as well. Stove, toiletries, etc anything with a smell gets hung in it.

I bet 5-6 days with the other items is what I can fit.

It only gets maybe half full on 5-6 day trips. I like the 20 liter because I’ve used it to haul water to camp and pack out bits of scrap meat at the end of my hunts.
