Follow-up post to my previous Unknown Suppressor OGL post:

After getting down from our archery hunt, my pops and I went to a clear-cut so I could shoot these two suppressors. The rifle used was a Howa Mini 6mm ARC with a 16" barrel, shooting 106 TAPS at 2,650 fps.

My experience with suppressors is limited. I have a Banish Backcountry, an AB Warthog 5.56, and now the UM OGL. My pops, on the other hand, doesn’t have any suppressors. The one I compared it to was the Banish Backcountry, which is a very popular lightweight hunting suppressor.

Both of our thoughts were the same:
-The OGL sounded more like a loud air gun rather than a high-pitched pop. Also, the first-round pop and second-round sounded extremely close. After shooting two rounds with the OGL, my ears were not ringing.

-The Banish Backcountry, with this cartridge, had a very loud pop, and there was a noticeable difference between the first-round pop and the second. After the first round with the Banish, my ears were ringing.

Unfortunately, the video doesn’t truly show the difference between the two, nor does the OGL have the first round in the video (blame my cameraman), but the OGL hands down beats my Banish.
