Has anyone who frequents this forum spent much time calling coyotes in foggy weather? Around here we’ve had a couple days of pretty thick fog (150 yard visibility). I was planning on spending the day calling tomorrow, but not sure how the coyotes will react.

My first thought would be they’d treat it like night time and be a little more aggressive/less cautious, but I’ve never hunted this before. Anyone have any experience?

Agree with the other posts, I love calling in the fog as long as the wind is still. If its swirling I don’t have good luck as they seem to bust you before you see them. On a still day, they can be bold. The attached pic is from a few days ago, we got several off the first stand. Shot one within a minute, kept calling and then another, and another. All several minutes apart. Visibility was 125ydsIMG_6897.jpeg

Last year we had a foggy first day of calling on a 2 day trip.
We could see a couple hundred yards with a light SW wind.
Ended up being a pretty good day of calling. Called in a triple on the first stand and called in a single on the next 3 stands.
By the time we got the 4th stand complete the fog was lifting.
