I'm just a crusty M1 tank crewman planning and orchestrating a means by which to achieve a lifetime goal (harvest a beautiful elk). I found out about rokslide forum while watching the gritty bowman channel on youtube. I'm doing research in order to prepare for a CO OTC rifle elk hunt in the fall of 2017. I've learned very quickly, "Amateurs focus on tactics, Professional focus on logistics" when it comes to planning a DIY elk hunt. I'm glad to be in the company of so many people willing to pass on their knowledge and experiences.
