As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new NY member.

What'sup New Yorkers!? I'll be trying my luck in Sullivan County this coming season. Anyone familiar? What about any counties nearby. I'd love any advice - I spent my first 30 years hunting Mulies out west so white tail on the east coast is gunna be something new for me. Cheers!

I don’t know why I’m just seeing this now but I live in the county to the north of you! Unfortunately it sounds like you made a big downgrade after spending that amount of time chasing mulies most of us east coast guys dream about doing haha. I will say our whitetails in this part of the state aren’t quite as good as they are in CNY or WNY so if you see one that’s 110”+ take it as they don’t get much better than that too often around here lol

Luckily I still get out west every October. In Sullivan county last week I put glass on a nice 3 point but he vanished as I was closing the distance. Spot and stock archery - quite the game. Let's see what I can drum up the rest of the season

Man if you can get it done with spot and stalk archery in the northeast there’s nothing you can’t kill lol let me know how you make out!
