FNG from SoCal

New to bowhunting, glad to have a forum like this where I can learn a bunch. Giving myself a year to get ready for a hunt using a compound bow. Bought a decent bow, got outfitted - now just practicing a ton and getting in better shape for spot and stalk out here in the west. Thanks in advance for the help and advice.

welcome! flying over CA always makes me think the wildlife and hunting opportunities should be so much better. hopefully in time CA game management improves.
