Hi all:

Newb from Rhode Island who'll be grouse and deer hunting in northern NH and eastern Maine this upcoming season. Found this forum's threads come up quite often when reading about hunting boots, optics, etc. This is the first year I've taken hunting seriously. Read New England Grouse Shooting and currently working on Hal Blood's Hunting Big Woods Bucks. Very excited to scout areas this summer and get into the woods.

I'm not too far from you - just north of Boston here, work in NH. I rarely make it south of Boston anymore, mostly hunting Zone 10, some western MA, and NH.
