Hi. I just registered here so technically a new guy, but not really a newb to hunting. This looks like a great group. I've listened to the Rokslide podcast but never really spent much time here. Glad to be on board, and hoping I can give as much as I get.
I grew up hunting in northern Nevada, originally from Reno. Moved to San Deigo in 2000, just in time to get in at the front end of the point system here. That was lucky. With max points I've been fortunate to draw the Cali big three - desert bighorn, Tule elk, and pronghorn. I am truly humbled and grateful for these opportunities in what most would consider a crap hunting state.
I've been hunting big game almost 40 years, mostly in Nevada, Utah, and California. I've dabbled in AZ, WY and CO and expect to get back to CO this year for deer.
