Very similar to the one I sold on here a couple of weeks ago, but with a longer and heavier barrel!

This FN Mauser-action custom .22-250 is an absolutely wonderful rifle, but Q needs to make space in his gun safe and refill the bank account for a new suppressor purchase. Who benefits? You do.

I got this rifle off GunBroker a few years ago. When I got it, it was a 90% finished rifle in two pieces. The story I got was that the owner (who was possibly also the builder?) had the rifle in pieces on his gun bench when he died. His daughter grabbed the barreled-action and stock and sold them. She forgot to grab the action screws and bottom magazine plate/spring. When I got it, the rifle was in two pieces and the seller had unfortunately not packaged it very well, resulting in the two visible dents on the right rear stock. It's still a stunningly beautiful rifle (to me, anyway). I ordered a new bottom plate, magazine spring, and action screws. Then I had a gunsmith check the headspace on the rifle (it had never been fired when I got it) and blue the action and bottom metal. Once it was all properly assembled, I ordered an SWFA 12x scope for it (my first one!), a set of dies, and 200 rounds of Sellier & Bellot 55-grain SP ammunition. My original plan was to use the factory ammo for it and then reload for it. But, since it shoots that ammo into very consistent sub-MOA groups, I have never bothered to reload for it. I plan to keep the dies because I could see myself getting another .22-250 down the road (but if you are interested, let me know and I can include them too).

Round count is exactly 105 rounds (it was unfired when I got it). It's accounted for 36 ground hogs and two raccoons with 40 shots (ranging from offhand at 40 yards to prone at 376 yards). Both misses were due to me making poor wind calls at 335 and 360 yards (I keep notes). The other 65 rounds have been shooting rocks, paper, and scissors steel.

Barrel twist rate is 1:12".
Barrel length is 26"
Overall length is 46.25"
LOP is 13"
Weight (as configured) is approximately 14.3 pounds. In the offseason, I carry it around the farm as my "training rifle."

Asking $600 for rifle and Leupold scope mounts. (includes shipping to your FFL).
Asking $700 for rifle, nice leather sling, practically new Harris bipod, Leupold scope mounts, and remaining 95 rounds of ammunition (includes shipping to your FFL). Ammo will ship separately.
Asking $1000 for rifle, sling, Harris bipod, Leupold scope mounts, remaining 95 rounds of ammo, and SWFA 12x scope and scope level (includes shipping to your FFL). Ammo will ship separately.

I know I won't get out of it all I have in it at this price, but I think it is a fair price. There is a ton of life left in this great rifle.

Venmo, Zelle, or check accepted. Feel free to PM me to get a FaceTime look at it or to ask any additional questions.
