I have carried on a MR Metcalf without problem, granted it wasn’t stuffed full. Just optics and a few other things I didn’t trust in checked baggage. Fit fine in overhead and nobody said a word.

Should have said...with the exo 3500, I actually put it under the seat. It did stick out a little too far but no complaints at all. (southwest)

I have flown several times with an Eberlestock GSII when traveling to matches. Its always pretty full too. No issues.
