Hi All,

I'm looking to upgrade my torch annealer with annie induction. Does anybody have first hand experience? Any advice is appreciated.

following this one. I was unaware of this product. In theory, an induction annealer can be a big improvement to the torch method. Price doesn't look too bad.

I have one. It's been fantastic.

I have the water cooled coil, I wouldn't run it without the cooling.

I built a quick little adjustable dowel that I sit the case on, this makes the distance that the case is inserted into the coil very consistent and repeatable.

There is a touch of experimentation required with Tempilaq to get the time and insertion depth correct. But once I have those two numbers recorded, its is extremely consistent. I've run 300 cases in about 40 minutes, including setup and changing between 3 different calibers. I now anneal every firing, cuz it's just so easy.
