In your experience, was a flow through supressor worth it for supressed ar rifles? Im looking at a huxwrx flow ti 7.62 for my supressed 6.5 grendel.

I do not have a flow suppressor but after getting an AR and reading about flow through cans on AR's I had planned to get one but I threw a non-flow through 30 cal can on that I had just to see how it sounded, preparing to be disappointed because of back pressure and whatnot and it sounded amazing so I threw the flow through idea out the window. Just get an adjustable gas block, tune it to the can you are going to use, and use what you've got would be my advice.

Having been around both. I’m not convinced it really matters. A quality set up rifle will cycle wither can fine and sound similar. I shoot my ARs with .30 cal cans and fixed gas blocks. No complaints whatsoever.

One of my cans has a flow through endcap which can be swapped out for a closed endcap. On a range with a covered firing line I can hear the difference. The flow through cap is louder and gives a bark from the sound getting bounced off the roof. On an open range, I can’t tell the difference when behind the rifle. I can’t tell the difference in rifle gas, so just leave the closed cap on it.

I have the huxwrx 556k and love it. No gas to my face whatsoever. Don’t need to tune your rifle either.

Same here.
I was going down the same rabbit hole with getting my first can recently and wanting to run it on multiple ARs I have.
Thought I would give it a try on my Predator gun. Simple 223 rifle. Sounds great no major gas in the face. but it was overgassed as it dosent have an Adj gas block yet. So have to pick up a couple of them.
