Floorless Shelter Failures??

I only buy gear based on influencer reviews :). I especially focus on the influencers that review products while wearing a branded t shirt and hat of the brand they are reviewing.
You would have great insight into how many Kifaru Tipis had issues. Let's hear it. Outside of zippers, I bet not many.

The truth is this influencer is full of shit, but people just keep buying into it.

That sleeve is a great idea. I haven’t had the issue you’re describing, but I’m wondering if it’s worth having a sleeve anyway.
My mate was camping in his supertarp with stove on the same night and had the same problem.

The sleeve will be used when windy conditions are expected.

Here's my Sawtooth before the flash flood....

Here's my Sawtooth after the flash flood...

Can't even be classified as a failure...doesn't matter what shelter I had, it was going to go down stream.
Other than being a tad dusty once dried out, still in perfect condition.

My old seek 4 man has held up really well in the wind, snow, and rain, not sure how it could fail? Maybe under a ton of heavy wet snow, or if I set it up wrong?

I had my center pole of the tipi bend under heavy snow while I was away for a couple of days.

Sheet flow from heavy rain under the fly a couple of times.

I also started a grass fire inside the tipi while messing with a wood stove once.

None of which would I call a "failure "
