I owned a pair of these when they first came to market. Best hunting pant I've used in terms of temperature regulation and versatility. Sizing was the worst I ever worn, super baggy upper legs, tight lower legs, pure MC Hammer. We parted company.

For the record, those were a size Large. I am 6', 195, 33-34" waist, 31" inseam, upper legs 24", lower leg 17".

I chatted with a FL rep online earlier this year who indicated, but wouldn't commit to, this being addressed in the 2019 line. Has anyone had a chance to try them out? I'd love to hear back

I have a pair and they seem to be just fine for me. I order them bigger than I need cause my thighs are larger than most hunting pants these days can support. Then I just take them to be tailored for 20-30$.

I just bought my first one this year. Wore them out for a training hike. Bushwhacked 5 miles. Temperature was in the mid 70s.
Pants fit good for me. Light, comfortable and regulated lower temp good. The cotton tee shirt was hotter than the pants.
We will see how they work in the cold.
Love them so far

I have (2) pairs in the XXL size. I cannot say enough good things about them. Perhaps if I had a little more adjustment in the suspenders since I am 6/5. Overall I think they are great pants.

I had a pair of Obsidians and wore them for most of my 2018 hunts. 5'10' 190lbs, 32" waist and the medium was very comfortable. Felt great hunting in a huge range of temps from dry 90 degrees to damp low 40s and quiet! The problem was my quads occasionally rub together when I walk and caused the merino to pill up and wear a hole through in the crotch region. First Lite replaced them no problem after a year of use, and have been wearing the new obsidian model throughout the 2019 turkey and deer seasons. The new ones are just as comfortable but I can see the same problem beginning to develop in the crotch seam. Anyone else run in to this problem?

I did end up getting a new pair, the fit is much better and so far I'm happy with them. I'm heading back up the hill later this next week to finish out the elk archery season, so that will be the true test.

@TheFlyingDutchman - maybe size up? I wore my older Kanabs quite a bit and never had this problem

I have 3 pair in LT, I'm 6'3" and I have zero complaints on the fit, length is correct. I have a pair that is a couple years old and 2 from the past year. Great comfortable pair for me.
