Fishnet base layers. They work, and you want them.

Just received my Aclima Woolnet top in the mail. I’ve never seen a garment quite like it? Looking forward to trying it out hiking in the hills behind my place this weekend?
😎👍🏻

I noticed we put a hurting on Varuste on Black Friday.

I put some in a cart on Thursday and forgot about it and they were all gone on Saturday when I circled back.

Maybe us ... but maybe the much larger Euro market. In their BF email, they even named how they have trouble keeping these in stock ...

Whats been peoples sizing experience with Aclima? I'm between a 32-33 waist depending on time of year. Large U.S. size shirt.

The top was spot on for me size wise, the leggings a little small. I bet you're a large top and medium legging but a large legging will probably work too.

I think I've posted about this earlier in the thread, but when Varusteleka used to carry Aclima, they had a picture of two dudes modelling the tops. One was relatively short, but pretty built - they showed him wearing a medium, but noted it was baggy, and he should have been in a small.

I'm a medium in almost everything, and the small fits me well. YMMV, of course.

I’m an XL T-shirt and the size large Anclima fits well, snug but not constrictive.

Edit: breathes like an SOB also. Pretty impressive base layer, for certain.

How does the mesh fare in warm conditions? I'm trying to find something that will keep me warm when I'm outside but wont cause overheating when in doors.

I haven't found it to be a problem. Most of my hiking is in cool to warm conditions, and I'd rather have the Aclimas underneath a shirt or other layer than not - keeps that layer off my skin, and the fishnets breathe incredibly well.

Especially when your nipples are just poking between the holes. Not that I would know.
When the winter breeze
finds its way beneath wool and cotton,
it pauses—
a curious guest with cold fingers.

The nipple remembers summer,
the lazy weight of sun,
and answers the chill
by rising to attention,
a small defiance of warmth.

Skin tightens.
Breath sharpens.
The body learns again
how alive it is—
how even cold can touch
like a whisper meant only for you.

A shiver travels inward,
not pain, not pleasure,
but that bright, fleeting edge
where the world proves
it still knows your name.
