Looking at getting those things that allow you to attach a few fishing rods vertically along the inside wall of a boat. I’m looking for something simple but quality. Hoping to be able to put at least 3 rods in, 4 would be better. Low profile, durable and something that won’t damage my good fishing rods.

What’s out there?

This is what I imagine you are looking for - the price is crazy tho. You could use small sections of PVC pipe to do the same thing, just won't be as pretty.

This is the standard type rod holder. PVC plastic 3 or 4 count tubes. Again, you should be able to get it for less at $75 I'm more likely to just get some PVC pipe and cut and mount it.

I use the plastic Scotty spin reel holders. Didnt like the idea of drilling in the aluminum at first for the base mount, but they are durable and now have two on the transom, two on side rails and one up front. They are expensive, but have held up to abuse. I can snap a few pics for you later if you like.

I don’t want to drill either but if I do it will just be into the rib of the boat.

The first thing you posted looks good, seems like I’ve seen basic foam ones though.

Yup - we were running with upright vs horizontally, laying down-like.

I like to lay the rods down in my SSV-18. Those foam things in my last post are about perfect, just have to replace em every now and again and at $10-$15 it is doable.
