So bought a few pairs of Firstlite merino boxers from Cableas a few weeks back. I wore them for hunting. Got home wife ended up throwing them in the standard laundry warm water regular dryer cycle.1 pair came out just fine, other pair was shriveled up to nothing. So i contacted firstlite. Told them the situation that the wife had washed them on a normal cycle. Without hesitation Casey from Firstlite came back said that they would be happy to assist and send me a new pair. She also reiterated the care instructions as if I didnt feel dumb enough lol. I cant tell you how cool this company is. No words can describe it. Needless to say Firstlite will definitely be getting my business in the future. Great company with awesome people and customer service. Im not saying this will be the norm but for them to replace my Shorts over our undoing is way freaking off the hook cool.

Agree 100%. Put a hole in my Kanabs the first day out with them. They told me to patch them, wear them the rest of the season and then send them back for a new pair. Great quality gear and top notch CS has earned my business for life.

That's odd......I wash and dry all my merino (FL, KUIU, Cabela's, Red Ram, Icebreaker, Russell) with my regular clothes, in the regular cycles all the time. Never had an issue.

Casey is the man! He sent me a new pair of boxers after a 2 year old pair I had developed a small hole in the crotch. 2 years old and no questions asked! First Lite is killing it.

My question is: Why would you send them in after two years? Not being a smart ass, but at what point do you say you're abusing the warranty?

Well I had three pairs all purchased at the same time and only the one started to fall apart. I had no intentions of trying to return them I simply called FL to ask what the typically life expectancy was on the boxers. He said they should hold up longer than two years and offered me the new pair.

I just had an awesome experience with my kanabs also and were replaced no questions asked. They got a customer for life. Had an issue with another company with same priced gear and it didn't turn out as well.. Good job Firstlite!!

Picture as promised. In no way is this a manufacturer defect but as stated from topic discussion they are happy to replace them even though they got mixed in on a regular load. Its almost like they are twilling up all over after the wash and dryer. Anyways You cant beat customer service like that. awesome stuff.

Forgot about my Core4. I have a couple pairs of their boxers that I've used for the past few years and those get washed and dried too without any issues. Odd that some shrink up and some don't.......especially when it's of the same manufacturer in the same load of laundry.

Interesting I ripped my puffy and they basically told me I was on my own. Although my response was from an intern so that might have been the difference. I still have confidence in their services though. My case was probably my fault so I didn't expect any assistance, but still asked because it doesn't hurt.
