Is your experience they dry slow? They are advertised as having no elastic and 100% poly therefore they should be no difference between attack and these in dry times.
They came the day before I went back to work for the week. So I won’t get to wear them hunting until Tuesday. So we’ll see, they seem stretchier than attacks. Read a few reviews on the first life website about durability issues. Time will tell.

Wearing my 308s as I write this. A great pant, and probably the most comfortable and well built on my rack. Agreed with all of the comments in the review here. You will want to climb into them every day.

Brock I am very sorry to ask a question unrelated to the 308' pants, and I did enjoy the reveiew! But what are the sights on the rifle you are carrying? The front sight looks interesting. I see the threaded muzzle, but that is about it. I would be curious as to that rifle and its sights. Thanks so much, and keep up the good work! Brad Griffith Dallas

Its my CVA Muzzleloader. That is a Williams globe sight on the front that you see.

Thanks for the review. What is the fit like in the crotch? I’ve tried a few different First Lite pants over the years and was dismayed at how shallow, if that’s the correct term, the pants were. They would just absolutely strangle my stuff.

I know what you mean on some of their past pants. No issue with that on these ones.

Thanks for the review.

I have the corrugated foundry pants and the catalyst found pants, both have been abused and are bomb proof.

I was on the fence about buying the 308s just not completely sold on em yet.

I ended up sending my lined 308 pants back.

The good-
Fit true to size I’m a 32 in Levi and these fit great length and width
Comfortable
Quiet
Seem warm
Light

The bad-

They feel similar to under armor sweat pants.
Would not be anywhere near water proof (not even resistant)

All in all I am trying out some catalyst foundry pants now. My search continues for pants with similar warmth to bibs without wearing bibs
What was your intended application?

Maybe I can help with my 4 seasons of use with the catalyst foundry pant.

Just came back a few weeks from a moose hunt in Northern Ontario. I basically lived in the FL Catalyst foundry pants, temps between 17F and 50F. I cover between 10KM and 15KM on average per day hiking. Usually with some 250 merino wool bottoms. The side zips are a life saver for dumping heat and the pants are flexible and solid AF. They also dry fast. I have had them for about 4 years and they are going strong.

How are the Catalyst treating you?

I just talked with a guy from Thlete yesterday. Reached out on Instagram and the marketing guy called me and talked to me for quite awhile.

They have quite a few different options for mid to heavy pants. The Phantom series. Original being a little heavier but more breathable, 2.0 being a hair lighter but more wind/water resistant and the Phantom X being the warmest.

Theyve got a great sale going now and always free shipping, I'll keep you posted when my 2.0 gets in.
