First new bow in 20yrs. Tuning question.

I’m looking at retiring my 2006 Hoyt Trykon XL and moving to a barely used Mathews Lift X in immaculate condition.
I live in SE Utah and am two hours from a pro-shop, or decent archery shop of any sort.
Is there any reason I can’t tune one of these new bows myself and avoid a bunch of back and forth to the shop?

Disclaimer: I haven't dove in to setting up my own little at-home archery shop, because I've got limited space and time for only so many hobbies.

But there shouldn't be any reason you can't tune it yourself. There's no wizardry going on with newer bows.

With the Limb Shift feature and Stay Afield System on that bow, you can make both horizontal and vertical tuning adjustments without a press. The only specialized equipment you might want for tuning/maintenance at home would be a scale to check draw weight and a draw board to check timing.

Thank yall, I appreciate it. I figure the Hoyt has earned a rest and I’be definitely put it through the wringer.
Time for a new generation of bow to chase elk, mulies and turkey for the start of my 50th decade.

I’ll order a draw board and press just in case and make room on the bench for them.
