Picked up an MRX last year, daughter took an elk in CO with it this past September. I've been pleased with it. I put an Anarchy break on it with Williams Fiber optic globe sight. I shoot 80grn(weight) bh209 and it shot good with 300 Thor and 330 powerbelt ELR's. Been loading the ELR's cause they grouped just a hair better than the Thor, but I wouldn't hesitate to use the Thor's. If you order the model with the stock peep, it won't work with the globe, so just order the peep and globe combo if you go with Williams.

Hope you don’t mind me piggybacking your thread instead of starting a new one.
What’s people’s thoughts on the older Remington 700ml? I’m in Idaho so need to stick with #11 caps, no UML for me. I like the idea of a r700 platform as I have 2 r700 center fires. Am I better off with a MRX?
