Grizzly gloves kick ass. I was surprised that I could even tie decent knots in tent guy lines with them on. Fingers are a bit big for most trigger guards though, so they aren't really shooting mitts.
Held up pretty well to wood prep too, I might get a second pair!

I haven't placed an order yet but I'll be getting the Grizzly gloves, possibly some aerowool liner gloves and a vapor jacket at some point this year. The Brambler gaiters look sweet too but I don't need gaiters this year. When my current set wears out the Bramblers will be the replacement.

I want to see some real world reviews of the Cirrus. I want a puffy to layer under my soft shell or Stormtight jacket without another hood getting in the way.

Man getting expensive, nothing for me this year, kind of disappointed the gaiter only comes in fusion.

I wore my cirrus yesterday while up at a ski resort here in WA. It's a pretty nice coat. Very similar to the uncompahgre. Minus a hood.

Looking at the pics, it looks like the sleeves are thin enough to wear underneath a soft shell or Stormtight without bunching up or getting in the way of the bow string. Have you tried layering your Cirrus underneath an outer shell? How is the torso length? Aside from not liking permanent hoods on most jackets, I despise jackets that ride up.

That's exactly what I want, but was worried that it might be too light. I think the un-pronounceable is perfect for warmth. How much lighter is it? Is the fit exactly the same?

I haven't tried layering it yet. I most certainly will in AK though. I'll try my rain jacket on over the top of it tonight for ya.

Torso length is good.

Fit is pretty close to the same IMO. I will weigh them for you tonight.

How well does it pack down? Does it stuff into its own pocket like the Uncompahgre?

My jacket does not compress into its own pocket. I would imagine you could get it pretty small. Again I just got it on Wednesday night so I haven't tried compressing it yet. I will and report though!

Trying just about every new item. Really looking forward to the Woodburry and Cirus puffy jackets. If the existing base layers are any indication, the aerowool should also be awesome.
