Yeah I believe it has a little lighter fill. If I remember correctly it was 60 gram fill

Could you try it under a North Branch or similar jacket as well? I'm still debating between a puffy vest or puffy jacket as an insulating layer for late season whitetail and elk hunting.

Unfortunately I can't. I went away from the soft shell as part of my layering system a couple years ago so I don't own one.
