I don't own any First Lite gear, other than boxers, and wanted to see what you guys would rank as the best 2 or 3 items they make.

I honestly don't need anything but would like to support the company and try out their products.

I tried on the unpronounceable and didn't like it at all! I own Kanabs, Corrugate Guides, Chams Hoodie and Short Sleeve Merino shirt. Guide Pants absolutely rule and I like both shirts real well. The Guide Pants pockets are way better than the Kanabs but the Kanabs are quieter!

Ive have had the Uncompaghre and curious how the cirrus jacket compares. I just sold my uncompaghre to get one in fusion but wondering if I need to look at the cirrus. I'm concerned that the cirrus doesn't have a hood which I would prefer for cold morning glassing sessions.

Their older style brimmed beanie, no doubt my go to hat in cold weather all day every day. Wish I had one or two more.

Thanks,
Boswell

The Chama hoodie does not fit me. The shoulders to hood transition looks and feels really strange. Maybe my neck is too long for it or something.

Big fan of their trucker hats. I wear one almost daily. Both the Llano SS and LS are great. I just picked up a pair of Guide pants which I like so far, and put in a order for an Uncompaghre. I also have the Talus gloves which I like a lot.

Interested in trying out some of the Shale gloves and new Aerowool shirts.

All of their baselayers and kanabs. I had the unpronounceable puffy and it was good but prefer the Kifaru puffy.

In order of preference and reason:

1) Kanab 2.0: Regulates temps very well, quiet, comfortable, and don't smell after several days of hunting. Pair this with a good base layer and you can hunt when it is 30 degrees, as long as it is not too windy.
2) Uncompahgre jacket: Windproof, warm, and it packs down real small so I have no problems carrying it in my pack.
3) Llano long-sleeve crew: The perfect base layer top. Once it goes on, there is no need to take it off until the hunt is over.

Things that I just bought that will get me killed once my wife finds out:
1) Corrugate Guide pants: Because as much as I love the Kanabs, they are not indestructible.
2) North Branch pants: Because 30+ mph winds and freezing temps can make for a very miserable hunt at 10,000 plus feet. I'm gonna try them this fall and winter hunting whitetails as well.
3) Chama hoody: Because I just wanted it and being cold just sucks.

Guide pants are excellent. Stretchy and light.

Cirrus puffy has been great for mid-season hunts. The Uncomprwhatever is a damn oven. I have both.

Chama is great.

Halstad fleece has been a nice October layer.

Just ordered the Woodbury to take to Montana. wish they made Woodbury pants.

For me overall it's:

1. Chama hoody
2. Corrugate pants
3. Uncompaghre
4. Llano

I wear the Corrugates and the Llano everyday hunting whether it's CO Elk or VA Whitetail. The Chama & Uncompaghre are always in my pack and are awesome when you need them.

On my really want list is:
1. Woodbury jacket (on order)
2. SS ASAT shirt
3. The new Vapor rain gear.

God Bless.

Wanted to add that if anybody buys the Guide Pants, they don't come with the suspenders like the Kanabs do and they are a worthwhile purchase to pair with the Guide Pants!

I love my chama hoody. I bought it in green for every day use and am looking for an excuse to buy a fusion in order to replace my fleece layer.

I sold my uncompagne. I just never got used to it or liked it.

I have a 1/2 zip aerowool shirt on order during this sale. Im curious what its like since I havent seen too many reviews.
