How compressible are these? I know they are 18 oz., roughly 6 oz heavier than most down pants that would be slightly warmer but compressibility would probably be more important to me.

They don't compress well and they're not warm enough for anything I would use them for. I'd be looking for something else that uses down, not 37.5 magic fluffy stuffing.

They’re not bad for compression and stuff right inside their own pocket. Obviously not as compressible as down.

I like mine as an active insulation piece, but it’s not a particularly warm item.

Yeah. I was already leaning down. The Uncompahgre was just on sale at a deep discount. I think I'm going to go with the Black Ovis Puffy Pants.
