First Lite sizes question

I am looking at buying the First Lite puffy and stormtight jackets. I almost always need a large coat. I am 5'10 and 160, not a big guy but jackets and shirts always fit tight in the shoulders. I have heard or read a lot of guys saying that First Light stuff runs big, not sure if that is just in the wool or the coats as well. If anyone has an opion or experience with the coats and are willing to share I would appreciate it! I would love to go try one on, buy nobody around me carries First Lite, I can always send it back but trying to avoid the hassel.

Everything ive ever tried on from First Lite has always been a size smaller! Im 6'3'' 220 and am usually and XL or XXL in everything, with First Lite I run Large pretty much across the board.

I agree, FL tends to run big. I'm an XL in most but a L in FL.

Yep, I'm 6'1", 185 and run medium in FL jackets.

I'm 5'11 and wear a 33x34 in jeans. I just received the FL Kanab 2.0 in medium and they fit perfect

We are pretty much the same size since I am 5'9" and 162 pounds. Although I do not own any of the jackets the tops I have are mediums and I have a few of the older kanabs and they are smalls and fit perfectly. It was scary for me to get a small in pants for christmas and I though no way, but they are perfect!

Just sent back the large puffy for a medium. I'm 5' 10" 185

It really depends on the product, in their vest, I am in a small and it feels big. Base layers seems to run a size big and outer layers seem to be 1/2 a size big.
