Just posted this on my S&S Archery facebook page but thought I would share here as well. Getting quite a few questions about the weight of the new jackets. Just weighed the Uncompahgre Puffy and the Boundary Stormtight both size medium; each one with the tags on them came in at 19.6 oz.

How much does the Labrador weigh?

I don't know R values. But the puffy is going to be quite a bit warmer and windproof. Plus its 3oz lighter.

Yeah I don't think its even close on the r-value, the Puffy is easily twice as warm. The Labrador is a great piece but its warmth to weight ratio isn't great, if you are looking for the most warmth per ounce the puffy wins hands down.

I have the llano and chama in medium and the puffy in large. Interestingly, I can sandwich the puffy under the Chama with ease and still have great mobility. That will come in handy in mid to late October when our northern MN temps drop, it's dead calm and I'm sitting in a stand. With these three pieces, I feel I have tons of versatility that will carry me through the next 6 weeks in the woods.
