First Lite Durability?

My HE washer does more damage to clothes then the dryer. But I agree with any other merino it should be air dried, FL is fine to machine dry.

I don't even differentiate (FL, Cabela's, Core4, KUIU, Icebreaker, Red Ram). All my merino and hunting clothes go in the washer and the dryer together. I've got a pair of Tall Cabela's merino base layers that I've had for probably 9 years now. They've been washed and dried at least 50 times and I still wear them. The bottoms have a few holes in them, but mostly from brush and stuff even through my hunting pants. The top is fine. I usually wear stuff until it's literally falling off my body. So I have plenty of years left on this stuff. I really prefer these to even my FL, because being a Tall they actually fit. Sure wish I'd known they were going to discontinue these a few years ago, I would have stocked up.

I put my First Lite and any other merino in the dryer but on low heat so they never get hot. If I have time and good weather I hang them to dry. I wash them with only other wool and put a medium load in but wash on large so they're not rubbing each other hard.
