Anyone have any input on the FL Catalyst jacket? I’m just looking for an all around solid jacket that I don’t have to worry about it getting torn up by brush when backpacking and to be warm enough cut the wind when I’m glassing. I also like that it says it stays quiet. It doesn’t get extremely cold where I live(southwest), but it would be nice to be able to use it for when I go up north when I finally draw. I’m not a huge puffy jacket guy, I would rather just throw on base layers as needed and have one jacket. I’m looking at this jacket and the corrugate guide, which is a lighter one and I don’t think provides much warmth. Thanks for any advice.

As I write this I'm wearing it in a treestand in upstate new York. 30 degrees today with winds making it more like mid to low 20s. Undearneath I have an under armor base layer, then FL klamath 1/4 zip, then cirrus puffy. I've been sitting for almost 6 hours and been comfortable. I really like the catalyst. Wore it with light base layer much of archery. I actually had the corrugate guide jacket and returned it. I didn't like the fit and was just too light.

Dude I just bought my 2nd. I frickin love them. I got my first one in camo for archery and loved it, wore it pretty much all season. Colorado archery, first rifle, 2nd rifle, northern Minnesota for whitetail last week, and I just got one in a solid color to just wear around for every day stuff. It swallows her kinda but my wife steals it regularly. It’s quiet, durable, warm, breathes, cuts the wind, great pockets, hood is bitchin. Sleeves are slim and perfect for archery but can get tight if you want to layer under it. Goes great with a vest. I wear a medium in all things FL and it fits true to size.

I have the Corrugate too but it doesn’t get much action with the catalyst in the way.

Awesome thanks for the input guys. Looks like I’m going to pull the trigger on one tonight

It's a great jacket. For the weight, its very warm and for not having a wind laminate is very windproof and quiet.

And the price is nice.
