First Archery Whitetail IL

I just wanted to share my first archery whitetail. I got into archery back in September just because of my impulsiveness and I’m super blessed to have been given the opportunity to harvest this buck. He wasn’t on the hit list this year but I won’t turn down the opportunity for a mature buck. I worked hard getting here from nit-picking my form to fine tuning my arrow to give me the best possible shot to humanely harvest. Had total pass through the heart at 25 yards right at last light. I had just packed my bag and stood when he came in right behind me. I was very lucky enough to re-nock an arrow to get a good shot off. I just wish I had taken better pictures but all well.
