I’m getting mine together and was curious to see what everyone else puts in theirs?

Mine is pretty small but I also cut a bunch out of it this year. It consists of:
2 large square bandages
4-5 Bandaids
Medical Wrap
Compressed gauze (6 yards)
Neosporin
Burn/Itch Cream
Ibuprofen
Anti- Diarrhea
Benadryl
Cold and Sinus
Water Treatment Pills
Two Gloves
I carry all of the following in a loksac so it stays waterproof and it comes in at about 3 oz.
I also carry tape and a needle with fishing line in case things get a little western. But I also have an inreach because I hunt alone a lot.

Mine is minimal and I add to it based on previous years mishaps.
I carry more band-aids than anything, some gauze, Lueko and Tenacious tape, a lighter wrapped in duct tape

I think that's it.

I also have Aqamira tabs but its in with my water kit
I also have certain pills, but theyre in my everyday possibles pouch
- cause I have to take some pills daily
I also have gloves, but they are in my Kill Kit

I try to keep each kit as simple and basic as possible.

Early on I combined possibles stuff with kill kit stuff with emergency stuff.
My emergency kit is now all the way at the bottom of the pack, on top of it is my kill kit, then sleeping bag, then my water kit, puffy and rain gear.

Her is mine for my AK hunt next month. It's overkill for most hunts and I don't pack that much, but when I'll be 100 miles or more from help I go a bit heavier. This is what goes in my pack, there are a few more things in the group kits we'll leave at camp

Alaska DSK 7-22-18 (20oz total)
Contained in Granite Gear zipper pouch, qt ziplock in pouch for small items:

Medical
-2 gauze pads 3”x3”
-2 Band-aids 1lg, 1 small
-1 Israeli bandage 6”
-packaged suture 1 small

Multi-purpose
-Adventure Medical space blanket 96“x60“
-Gorilla superglue single use tube
-partial roll Tenacious Tape
-trotline cord 10yds 142lb green
-50ft 1.9mm paracord

Repair
-3 6” zip ties
-2 repair needles (one curved, one straight)
-6 safety pins (2XL, 2med, 2 small)

Emergency/Survival (1.2oz in small ziplock)
-12 fish hooks med to small (in tape with braided line wrapped around them)
-20ft 80lb braided Power Pro line
-3 nylon coated cable fishing leaders 12”
-9 36” 45lb cable fishing leaders converted into snares (have taken game to rabbit size with them)

Fire
-4 wetfire cubes
-1 Mentos bottle full of Vaseline soaked cotton balls
-mini Bic lighter
-Light my Fire firesteel and striker

Misc
-Petzl E-Lite in hard case, 4 CR2032 batteries
-lens cloth
-Danner boot lace (it sucks to lace paracord through a boot with cold hands)
-Silva compass
-10 aquapure tabs (1/qt of water, 30 minutes)
-Benchmade tactical carbide sharpener (.5oz)

I'm also carrying a decent (not huge or heavy) fixed blade knife and a Seek Outside DST tarp with a few stakes for the AK hunt. I'm sure we will get plenty of rain and might find a spot to call moose from under the tarp. I like having a fixed blade knife all the time, I carry one on the ranch and just don't feel right without one. The little snare/fishing kit is only 1.2oz and I have carried it for several years. Probably never something I'll use but it is light and gives me some options if things really get bad. The heaviest things are the compression bandage and big space blanket, but I feel they are important enough to take on this trip.

Probably the most important thing is the Sat phone we will rent and common sense.

I can improvise one if needed, I very much hope I don't need to though. The weight limit for the plane means some things need left behind and that was one that got cut.

This is the group medical bag that will be in camp besides what I have in my daypack and our personal kits for camp.
(10.4oz total in gallon ziplock)

-new roll vet wrap (hot pink, also can mark kill site)
-50ft roll 1” wide duck tape
-4 gauze pads 3”x3”
-2 abdominal gauze pads, thicker 5”x9” pads
-suture 1 lg
-Immodium 20 tablets
-Neosporin 1 .5oz tube
-bandaids assorted sizes 8
-hemostat
-Leukotape 1 roll
-aquamira tabs for 30 quarts of water (.2oz total emergency water treatment)
-Tyto knife with 5 blades new in package (multipurpose, also useful cleaning skulls and as a back-up knife)

And I have a personal med kit that stays at camp: (10oz) lotriminx2, bodyglide anti-chafe stick,12 days BP meds, 24 aleve,22 advil PM, pill organizer box, small bottle Gold Bond

My 1st aid kit is pretty small.

Chap stick
Sun screen stick
Ibuprofen
Percocet
Leukotape
A couple 2x2 and 4x4 gauze and bandaids
Tenacious tape and CF tape (1st aid for the shelter)
Lighter

I used to carry a lot more stuff but a few years ago I decided to lighten it up a bit. In all my years of carrying a 1st aid kit the only thing I’ve ever used is the first three items on the list. A couple years ago I could have used the Leukotape but I didn’t have it.

Well, if you wanna know… I have had mine since the last year, and I am not sure it is filled properly, but it is enough for my family and me.
