Finding mountain sheds

I keep 2-3 cameras in the area year round and get a good idea when the deer vacate the area, but I also hunt wolves up there until the snow depth keeps me from getting there.

Once you see a big timber buck, it’s all consuming. I started listening to a bunch of whitetail hunting podcasts that focus more on mountain whitetail and I’ve learned more than I could have imagined. It’s still ongoing and I don’t see an end in sight.

What podcasts are specific to mountain whitetail?

I already have the fever, they are too fun to hunt. More challenging in their own way than elk or milked. At least here in the PNW.

The sweat equity is very high☠️ Odin goes into his collection each day dreaming of the next one. He is a fanatic about them and was raised from day 1 to think about them🤙

I'm interested to know which podcasts if you don't mind.

I hunted a specific whitetail buck this year that I happened to catch at daylight one day. He saw me take about 10 steps at 500 yards and he was gone! He gave me the slip twice more, but that helped me zero in on his core area.
day 4 I was ready and when he stopped, I killed him!

he's the only whitetail I've actually cared to try to hunt.
That buck and the one my wife saw has me thinking more about mountain whitetail specifically.

The shows that I listen to about mountain whitetail are East Meets West, The WHTL Podcast, The Stickbow Chronicles, Wired to Hunt, Southern Outdoorsman, and Truth from the Stand Deer Hunting Podcast. I don’t listen to every episode that these guys put out. I’m just seeking out mountain whitetail hunting content and some shows have more than others. I’d say East Meets West probably has the most consistent content that pertains to what we’re going after. Some names of big time mountain whitetail hunters that I like and offer the most applicable knowledgeable are Nathan Killen, Troy Pottenger, Steve Sherk, Josh Boyd, Jake Kremer, and Jon Gabrio. These guys hunt whitetail in the mountains of Idaho, Montana, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia- among a few other states.
