Hi All!

I lost my Leica 10x42 Trinovid HDs in Idaho this year. I was about 45 minutes North of McCall. There's a pretty good chance they are still there under some snow right now. If you want to try to find them send me a PM and I can send you the coordinates of their last known location.

If it is not tethered to my body there is I good chance I will lose it. I was so pissed at myself when I left my glasses up on the hill this year. I can't imagine how you felt.

I was pissed! But it had been a great hunt up until that point. Lesson learned. My next pair of binos will always be tethered to me or my tripod. I wish I could of stuck around longer to find them but I had work the next day in Oregon.

You're not the only person that has lost a pair of Leicas.
I physically felt like I was going to vomit when I realized mine were gone.

I left a pair of Swaro EL’s twice. Once at a campsite in Montana. At the TH I remembered and ran back and got them.

The second time was at a trailhead in Colorado. After packing a buck out I pulled the top lid off my pack and left it there. I realized it a couple days later when I was getting ready at a trailhead in Idaho to pack in for elk. After the elk hunt I made some calls and ended up getting them back. But they sat there for a week.

The worst part was trying to help on the elk hunt without my 10x binos. I had my 15’s but it’s not the same.

It's not a good feeling! I hope you ended up finding yours.

Glad you found them! Hunting elk with just 15x would be tough.

Nope.
The funny part with mine was that I bought them from a co worker who found them on the side of the road. On a Monday morning at work he told me he had found a pair of binos on the side of the road with some weird name on them. I asked him joking around what are they, Swarovski ot Leica? He said yeah! They are Leica, but the part you look through is broken. I told him I would give him 300 dollars as is, his reply was 200 and there yours. Went out to the parking lot at lunch time handed him 200 dollars and he gave me the binos. The eye cups were popped out, so I smacked them back in and they worked perfectly! Best deal of all time!
During a trip one day with close friends and family, apparently someone moved a bunch of stuff around in the truck and in the process put some stuff on top of the cab. Well long story short, my binos never made it back in the truck apparently. I had placed them in the backseat so as far as I was concerned they were put up. I cant help but laugh thinking whoever found them on the side of the road would probably never believe that's the second time those Leicas were set free. No bullshit man, true story.

Wow! That's a wild story. Who know where those binos might be now.

Or maybe you're stuck in some time rift and your co-worker is going to come walking in talking about some binos he found...
