Picked mine up. This thread said the T3X .223 magazines had a steel liner. That is a negative on these. Both my T3 and T3x .223 have the same plastic magazine.

Buy a .308 action and send it to kampfeld customs to have a bushing put into the bolt face. You can sometimes find the .223 barrels from take offs on J&A outdoors. There are 2 16” blued 1-8 twist barrels for $150

What do you lose in distance/accuracy going from a 20' to a 16' barrel length?

Doesn’t matter just shoot. Most cartridges it is ~25ft/sec per inch. These setups are used for reps and high round count to learn wind calls and for trigger time.

I think someone posted a left hand 350 legend, that would be easiest. You can also check the classifieds and gun broker, they pop up occasionally.

Got mine today. Scoped mounted and bore sighted waiting for cooler and less humid conditions to shoot it.
