Finally moving this year UT > Pinedale, WY

Good for you. Pinedale seems like a great area. I almost pulled the trigger on a lot there a few years ago, but ended up buying in Star Valley instead. I liked Pinedale better, but wasn't in love with the lots. I'm still a few years away from building.

Yes I think on average from what I've seen looking at both areas, I prefer the plots a little more in star valley. More trees less sage brush. You can get that around pinedale but it's going to be quite a ways out of town and much pricier depending on location. I'm hoping that is what we do after our girl gets older and can drive, or maybe we have to wait until she graduates high school

I moved to Pinedale in 23’. It’s a great community with a lot to offer a family. We left and moved up west of Dubois last May. There are a lot of things about that area we miss..my wife reminds me about it daily..like when we want to get something to eat and the there’s nothing open in town passed 8😂 We still take Union pass down to the upper green to meet friends at Kendall Valley and The Place for lunch. Hit up Daniel Junction for the spicy sausage breakfast burritos..especially when they have their green salsa, it’s actually authentic salsa that has heat. I still hunt in that area every year. It’s nice not having a brown bear behind every tree down there😅 Also, be careful with realtors. Covid hit and they’re a dime a dozen there. We went through several til we finally found one willing to work. I can share the info if you’re needing one.

Yes, thank you I'd appreciate it. I think we've just had our first one ghost us. I've noticed The Place for sale a couple of times. Does it seem to stay busy?

I tried talking my wife into buying The Place, but she wasn’t having it😂 The last time I was in there a guy and his mom were running it. The Pizza was pretty good there. I’ll share the contact via pm.
