Need to mount a Luepold VX6 4-24 with a 34mm tube on my fierce firearms carbon edge. What recommendations do you suggest.

Sphur- Top of the line
ARC- Solid rings easy to mount
Nightforce UL- lightweight
Vortex PMR- Low budget

You have to buy the rail from them. They have a specific screw pattern. Then I’d put some heavy duty rings on the rail.

They mount on any picatinny rail. This is my setup. But talley makes a one piece mount for fierce with 0 or 20 moa

Oh I wasn't replying about your rings. I was replying to the original poster letting him know that he needs to get the rail from fierce. They have their own screw pattern on their actions.

And yes, Talley makes the rail for fierce, but you have to buy it from fierce.

Sorry wasn't paying attention

Or get a rail from Murphy precision. You can have your choice of built in Moa, steel or titanium, and bead blasted or cerakote. We have 3 of his rails for our Fierct CTs.

Good to know!! Thanks!

I put an Area 419 20 moa rail for 700 LA with #8 screws on my fierce fury.

I think fierce says you have to use their rail but most any mount made for a 700 with #8 screw holes will work.

The recoil lug that hangs into the ejection port needed a few swipes of a file to fit up perfectly, but I don’t think most rails have that feature.

Did you epoxy bed your rails? I have a fierce CT in 7prc and am looking at the Murphy scope rail and thinking titanium on titanium makes sense.

No on the epoxy bedding. I thought about it, but didn't ever find the time to do it and it has been fine for 5 years now with the same Swaro X5 sitting on it.

I just ordered a Fierce, and since doing so I have discovered their specific screw mounting pattern requiring fierce specific bases. Hoping my post is helpful to anyone researching how to mount their scope to their new Fierce rifle.

As far as I know, only two manufacturers are making stuff for fierce: Talley and Murphy. Actually, three, Fierce has their own but the rings were sold out.

Talley makes a rail, and two piece base/ring set, but are all made of 6061 aluminum; this is far too soft of a metal for this application and in my opinion, should never be used for such. I know I will never use 6061 in my mounting system.

Murphy stuff; does look better, but they still do not offer a one piece mounting system (preferred) at least that I could find. And, it is expensive…

I found that fierce sells two piece titanium bases. While it’s not my favorite to run two piece bases, it’s titanium with 8x40 screws, so should provide a rigid, reliable base, and to that I will mount nightforce titanium UL rings, which are made of titanium, 7075 aluminum, with steel screws.

While we are all trying to minimize weight on these UL backcountry rifle builds, the scope mounting system is not where I want to save grams and compromise the reliability of the aiming device and accuracy of the rifle.

Just my $0.02
