FEI Chassis experience or recommendations.

Hi everyone. I am looking at getting a FEI Chassis for a Tikka and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Remington 700 versions. Thank you for your feedback!

Just received my FEI tikka chassis today. Did you ever end up buying one? I had the REM 700 chassis on a bergara last year and really enjoyed shooting it but I couldn’t get the action to eject 6.8 western cases properly so I shelved it. Not a lot of info out there on these!

I have not yet. I was going to build a 28 Nosler on a Tikka action but ended up not doing that after further research.

I am really considering it though. How is the inletting looking on yours?

I hunted with the 700 long action chassis in my fierce twisted rogue chambered in 7prc and absolutely loved it, the fitment was amazing and I’m comfortable with not bedding the action with how rigid it made it. The functionality is what sold me on continuing to use it. Not much difference on weight as far as a factory stock but how the weight is distributed makes it much more comfortable to shoot and carry. They also do not have big blocky box mags like 90% of chassis available, makes them a lot more hunter friendly. Pretty awesome product! I’ll definently be building a tikka with another chassis

I will report back when I get some time to mess with it. I ordered up a buttstock but still waiting on it.
