I tried to find a real review of SRS' "The Trinity Rail" but have so far come up empty handed. Maybe I suck at searching, but regardless I would appreciate some feedback from folks who have experience with this accessory. I have a couple of rifles I'm considering this accessory for, but I can't tell if I'm going to love it or hate it.

I have a spartan bipod that I like for my western hunting rifle, so having the option of using that is a plus. But, I'm not sure what I think of the Spartan attachment sticking out in the middle of the Trinity rail. My other bipod attaches to a picatinny rail, so it's nice to having the option to do both is nice (Spartan makes something with just those two but it's been out of stock for a while).

I have installed a short Arca rail on the balance point of one of my rifles. I hate how it feels in hand, especially when I don't have gloves on. But . . . I'm not sure having ARCA up front is a good solution. Maybe it is.

It would be going on a Stocky's VG Hunter stock and/or a factory Tikka stock, depending on what I decide.

Enough blathering from me. If you've got experience with this rail---good or bad---please let me hear about it. And if you have pictures of one mounted on your rifle and feel like sharing those, all the better. Thanks!

ETA: I just saw UM has a short "spartan flush rail." If the Trinity Rail isn't my solution that likely will be.

You can’t find much info on that particular rail because it hasn’t been out very long at all. I have a few SRS rails and all are perfect. The trinity should be no different.

I don't doubt the quality of the part. I'm just trying to figure out how useful it is having a swiss army knife of an attachment point on the end of the rifle. I knew they made a version for the Rokstock recently, but I thought the original had been out a bit longer. I have no idea, though.

I've got a trinity rail on my 284 win. Idk what exactly your looking for but It works as it should. Is basically the same attachment as spartan included mount that replaces a sling stud.
If I had to do it over again, I would do a slightly longer arca section and use Spartans mount they include in place of the stud. The reason I say that is I found that I never use the picatinny section. Some might, but I haven't yet. I'd rather have a longer arca section for balancing on a tripod I think.

Does anyone have a pic of the SRS trinity on a rokstock? Does this sit flush in the recess? I can't seem to find anything in the Rokstock thread or on their website other than the actual rail pic.

I pleaded with them to do an Arca/Spartan instead. It’s the only combination they didn’t make, and I’d bet it would’ve been the most popular.

I believe they’re done making different rails for the Rokstock. It’s now just the Trinity.

I personally think the Trinity is too much of a compromise. You get really short surfaces for the arca and pic sections.
I completely agree with this... now that I understand the Spartan system, I like that a lot. But the picatinny section is very short.

Is this the current offering from SRS? The pic in the website shows the stud protruding….but the rail you have is slick!

This is a picture of the current Trinity rail mounted on my wooden Rokstok.

This is the Spartan picatinny rail, which I prefer because it provides more space for mounting on the picatinny, Spartan, or QD sections. Obviously at the expense of the Arca option.

I've only ever used it ARCA and sparingly.

There's a lot of leverage but it works.

I have one rokstok that had a balance point arca rail and its sitting in a baggie somewhere. It sticks out too much and I don't use a tripod often; really only use it for youth to shoot.

It doesn't stick out or get in the way for positional shooting with sticks or bags so I just "have it anyway".

It wouldn't be important enough to me to wait for it if you can get a rail less-stock fast and run with it.

Makes sense. I don’t see the Rokstok Trinity Rail for sale on either website.

Edit: Disregard, saw you edited your comment.

I just edited my post. It wasn’t listed in the “Rails” section.
