I tried to find a real review of SRS' "The Trinity Rail" but have so far come up empty handed. Maybe I suck at searching, but regardless I would appreciate some feedback from folks who have experience with this accessory. I have a couple of rifles I'm considering this accessory for, but I can't tell if I'm going to love it or hate it.
I have a spartan bipod that I like for my western hunting rifle, so having the option of using that is a plus. But, I'm not sure what I think of the Spartan attachment sticking out in the middle of the Trinity rail. My other bipod attaches to a picatinny rail, so it's nice to having the option to do both is nice (Spartan makes something with just those two but it's been out of stock for a while).
I have installed a short Arca rail on the balance point of one of my rifles. I hate how it feels in hand, especially when I don't have gloves on. But . . . I'm not sure having ARCA up front is a good solution. Maybe it is.
It would be going on a Stocky's VG Hunter stock and/or a factory Tikka stock, depending on what I decide.
Enough blathering from me. If you've got experience with this rail---good or bad---please let me hear about it. And if you have pictures of one mounted on your rifle and feel like sharing those, all the better. Thanks!
ETA: I just saw UM has a short "spartan flush rail." If the Trinity Rail isn't my solution that likely will be.
