So i've talked to PBB on phone. They will do a prefit for ph3, but state they do not have contour drawings or ensure fitment in factory stock. I was told to pick a contour that will fit the stock. Ok, so the rub is the contour from the seekins drawing is an odd one and I feel like the only viable option is to do a custom sporter contour to fit the factory stock and try to make sure it fits within the maximums from the contour print. Gave it my best shot. Any feedback on whether this "custom" contour will work is welcome. Also, am I right to assume the shank length on the seekins drawing would just be .500"? It's significantly shorter than other sporter profiles and I'm concerned I'm missing something there. Does the tenon length also need to be added to this measurement? Since PBB has the tenon drawings, I assumed they do not need to know that measurement only the length of shank before the start of the first taper. Kind of a rambling post here, but I'm trying to avoid having to send the rifle in to a prefit maker, just to have the contour come out within spec.
