Looking at getting a 6mm creedmoor for hunting/plinking at distance and the PH3 seems to check all the boxes for the price point. Biggest concern is the aftermarket support, have the bolt heads and barrels started trickling in to stocking dealers? Another option would be a Proof Elevation MTR 2.0 in 6mm found one sub 2,700 so that may the better option with aftermarket support. Just looking for honest feedback and opinions.

Have ph3 300wm. Just starting to eval, but so far accuracy is good and comfortable to shoot even in magnum cartridge. Seems eurooptic has bolt heads, have one on order for standard bolt head. 7BC barrel on order from hells canyon armory. Will update once everything arrives and have time to test. Also, ordered apex predator mags, hopefully these will be good addition. They have mags that function as a long action to short action conversion. Will probably test this out with short action caliber barrel at some point. Hope they keep making those as that looks like a great option to have a long action platform and be able to shoot anything you want (pretty much) through it.

Seekins puts their prefit drawing spec out for any gunsmith to make a barrel for you. As long as your gun smith is reputable, there shouldn't be any issue with a non seekins barrel.

As far as bolts, seekins will probably sell you whatever bolt head you want. Give them a call

I was looking into one of these for my kid in 22cm. I read some horror stories on their "prefit-ability" and got a little scared. Sure you can always send your action off to get a new barrel cut for it but there were reports of the action tolerances not being tight enough. In one example I saw, there was some sort of clamp that was integrated on the front of the pic rail that interfered with the OD of the new barrel. Not sure if all actions have them or not.

I noticed that barrel OD max spec was listed on the tenon detail so maybe that was just a one off type of deal for their "element action" per the detail.

Regardless, I own several zermatt origins and if you can swing it, I can't see a world where I'd rather have a Seekins over the Proof with the origin. Definitely not a single issues getting prefits for that bad boy.

Biggest issue I’ve seen so far is SJA and PVA will require you to send in the rifle to ensure fitment in the stock. I talked directly to PVA and their concern was with contour and making sure what they send you will fit the stock. Sounds like they wouldn’t modify the stock like SJA says they will, but would contour to fit your individual stock. Apparently there are small variations in different stocks that are still enough to effect fitment and free float. I did not realize PBB would do a prefit. Do they require the rifle to be sent in if anyone knows?
